--The Embers on South Mission, circa 1970, the first upscale restaurant in Mt. Pleasant.  Known in Michigan for its good food and specialty stuffed porkchops.
--Placing your mouse cursor over this picture displays a September 2004 picture of the Embers.  Same location, but it expanded over the years.  Sadly, the Embers closed for good in the summer of 2007.
