Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC)
at Bridgeport in eastern California.
The Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) is one of the Corps most remote and isolated posts. The MCMWTC conducts formal schools for individuals and battalion training in summer and winter mountain operations.

Caroline wrote for the 45th Reunion Memory Book in  September 2004:
"Where am  I now?  I live in San Francisco, CA having moved from Detroit in 1967.  I have lived in the same apartment for 29 years.  The owner of my apartment building, Paul Newman is a good friend.  I have enjoyed his German Shepherds and currently we are on the third one, Joanne Woodward The Third.  It is a great city and I plan to live in San Francisco the rest of my life.  Excellent Health."
