| Kim Gravelle wrote several Class of '59 classmates at Christmas 2002 sharing this picture of himself, his wife Sisi, and son Gabriel. They were living in Fiji in the South Pacific but moved to Hawaii in 2003 after passing through Australia. Some of Kim's published works were discussed and on display during the 1999 Class Reunion dinner at the Mt. Pleasant Country Club although he did not attend the event. Kim has kept in touch over the years with Bill Hooker in Vancouver, British Columbia and other classmates like Mike Hradel in Free Soil, Michigan Kim's proud Christmas news was that their son Gabriel had graduated from the University of the South Pacific in December, 2002. Gabriel was continuing his education on scholarship in a biology and environmental sciences Masters program in Japan. |

| Kay Smith traveled to Haiti in March 2003 and again in January 2005 for church mission work. She kept colorful and informative journals about her experiences that she shared with friends and family. In 2005 Kay spent most of her time in the Port-Au-Prince area.
