| The 45th Reunion in September 2004 of the MPHS Class of 1959. We came from all points on the compass for our 45th Class Reunion in September 2004. MPHS Class of 1959 alums drove to Mt. Pleasant from as far north as Manistique, MI, in the Upper Peninsula and Livingston, MT. We flew from as far south as Fort Lauderdale, FL, Fayetteville, NC, and Houston, TX. We traveled from as far east as Barrington, RI, Tenafly, NJ, and Chesapeake, VA. And we journeyed from points in the far west like Mercer Island, WA, Visalia, CA, San Francisco, CA, San Rafael, CA, and Boulder, CO. But, of course, most of us came from the Midwest, Michigan, and the Mt. Pleasant central Michigan area which was the place of our youth. |

| Dan Paullin and Judy Sargent Paullin ('58) at the Sept. 18, 2004 Riverwood Resort reunion dinner in Mt. Pleasant. Dan underwent a lung transplant in March 2004 forced by idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis lung disease which has no cure. He said he was thrilled with his recovery progress. Dan's story was one of the most touching of life experiences shared among MPHS Class of 1959 classmates. Sadly, Dan died 04/12/2007 from liver complications caused by lung transplant medicines. |
